Not at all. CodeSprouts and our introductory tracks are designed for absolute beginners. If your child can use a tablet or a mouse, they're ready.

Do families need to supply a computer?

Yes. Students will need access to a computer or tablet for our online sessions. Personal computers are strongly preferred for the best learning experience, as our website is optimized for desktop use and may not be available on mobile or district-regulated devices.

Are programs really free?

Yes. Our core programs are 100% free thanks to our donors and partners. However, families should provide their own materials.

Are all classes online?
